I'm Alex Kirkman, the host of a brand new football podcast, Football 5's. Each episode I am joined by a football fan who will discuss their favourite teams. From favourite matches and goals to worst moments. From promotions to relegations. From financial struggles to memorable moments. 

Sounds like any other podcast right? 

Well my guests will also be picking the best 5 a side team using the players from their respective clubs following a set of simple rules.

Rule number 1 - You must have at least 1 goal keeper, 1 defender, 1 midfielder and 1 striker

Rule number 2 - You can pick 1 sub from any position

Rule number 3 - You can play whatever formation you desire

And finally rule number 4 - They must have played in their lifetime, i.e. they have seen them play live on TV and live in person
